My name is Sunniva and I’m 22 years old. I grew up in Norway, and moved to study English Literature at Lancaster University in the UK in 2013. I did one year abroad in Maine, USA. Since moving from my hometown I’ve travelled, made long and brief friendships with people from all over the world. I’ve added dozens of places to my Must-visit-lists and travelled as often as my schedule and bank account would allow – and sometimes when they didn’t as well. I love to bring my camera around and to share my journeys through my lens and my pen, and these are skills I try to work hard on improving. I also like to strap on my backpack and head into (or up into) nature.
On the 16th of February I’m catching the sunrise at the airport in Melbourne. I’ll be clumsily carrying with me two backpacks, a bag and a suitcase with as many of my earthly possessions as I’ve been able to stuff into all of these bags, and looking ahead for the metro sign and the next two years of my life. I’ll return to my favourite existence (besides being a traveller) as an international student of the arts.
